Owners of Blue Flame Pocket Torches are singing their praises. From 'Dusk' in Nottingham: Pocket Torch cool
As featured in a UK Survival Magazine: How many times has match or lighter
been snuffed out by a gust of wind, or your fingers burned just as you
are about to get your stove going? All that can be a thing of the past
with the 'Blue Flame' Pocket Torch from Blazer Europe. As lighters go
it looks pretty exciting with it's cap and chain, air grids and flame-locking
lever, and there aren't many that shoot out a roaring jet of blue flame,
one thousand three hundred degrees Celsius, in any direction, with one
press of the electronic plunger. The unit has received the ultimate accolade by becoming an addition to the items carried by members of the elite Special Air Services (SAS). From Nic Weston in London: "I have used the torch continually for the last 8 months as a lighter and not experienced any problems. As a pipe-smoker, I have at last found a lighter which you can operate with only one hand and which will not blow out, even on the Brecon Beacons! I've used the torch on my ventures around the world and it has performed in an entirely satisfactorily manner from 5,500 feet up in the high veld of Africa, to the costal plains. I have to admit to great degree of glee when lighting a fire at a costal campsite in Africa in a force 8 gale. Of the half dozen people trying to get a fire going, I was the only one to succeed. My
friends around the world have been so impressed with the torch that I
now have requests from three continents for them." Here are a few from overseas:
Jay was lucky with his Blazer PB-207: "I saw the PB-207 in a catalog and thought
"that's the coolest looking lighter!!" and went ahead and ordered it. It was expensive but I want to say that
the PB-207 is one of the best investments I have ever made. You couldn't ask for a more satisfied customer in the world!
Until its tragic demise a couple of days ago (a Sammy light fell and hit it just
right) I owned this lighter for almost six years. It had taken more use and abuse
than anyone could imagine. It got used 20-50 times every day for approximately two thousand one hundred and ninety days.
It was once dropped outside on a friend's lawn (mind you I had no idea where I had lost it): It was there for over a
month and survived rain, the heat, and most amazingly about seven lawn cuttings. I left his house one day and just
happened to look down and BAM there she was!!! I would never, never, never buy another lighter as long as I live.
Why should anyone buy anything else?!?!?! "

Here's a follow-up from Jay: " Thank you so much!!! I got my lighter in the mail to-day!! Thank you,
thank you, thank you!!!! It's like it never broke. Your service has been more than exceptional. Thank you most of all for
appreciating me as a customer."
Robert had his Blazer repaired here:"Hello david. I received my lighter to-day and it works
great! Thank you so much for the speedy return. If anyone from the U.S. ever shows concern in sending business your
way feel free to give them my e-mail address and I'll be glad to give them a recommendation of your services.
Hopefully I won't need any repairs for a while but if I do I'll be sure to let you know. |
